Academy Classes

Saturday Performing Arts Academy

Private Singing, LAMDA, Piano and Music Theory Lessons: 9:00am-3:00pm 

  • Classes run on Saturday’s alongside our academy classes
  • Singing and music lessons are taken by our resident vocal and music teacher, Cerys McKenna.  Available in 20, 30 and 45 and 60 minutes slot
  • Exams available with ABRSM, LCM, LAMDA and Trinity

Juniors Musical Theatre Academy: 10:00am-12:00pm & 12:30pm – 2:30pm

  • For ages 5-10
  • These classes progress on building skills and confidence through acting, singing and dancing.
  • Students will work on a showcase in the Autumn Term to perform to parents in a theatre.
  • Regular West End Workshops

Technical Dance 2:00pm-3:00pm

  • Suitable for ages 11+.
  • This class is run is designed to improve technical dance in jazz, ballet and tap.
  • This is the ideal class for a top up in dance skills and also to prepare for drama school auditions.

Seniors Musical Theatre Academy: 3:00pm-6:00pm

  • For ages 11-15
  • These classes are audition only for students who are passionate about a career in performing arts.
  • Each class only holds a maximum of 18 students to ensure all students receive one to one attention and become a company.
  • Regular West End Workshops
  • All classes are taken by leading professionals in all areas of the arts and will include, film&television, drama school preparation, singing, dance and intensive acting and musical theatre. The academy works on all aspects in the industry to allow students to be prepared for working professionally.
  • At the end of the Autumn term students will present a showcase to agents and professionals in Central London.

Advanced Seniors Musical Theatre Academy: 3:00pm-6:00pm

  • For ages 16-21
  • These classes are audition only for students who are passionate about a career in performing arts.
  • Each class only holds a maximum of 18 students to ensure all students receive one to one attention and become a company.
  • Regular West End Workshops
  • All classes are taken by leading professionals in all areas of the arts and will include, film&television, drama school preparation, singing, dance and intensive acting and musical theatre. The academy works on a all aspects in the industry to allow students to be prepared for working professionally. At the end of the Autumn term students will present a showcase to agents and professionals in Central London.

All classes run every Saturday for 12 weeks @ The Literary Institute, 51 High Street, Egham, Surrey, TW20 9EW. No Classes over Half Terms, Christmas Holidays, Easter Holidays or Summer Holidays.
