FAME, July 2014
The Magna Carta Arts Centre, Staines

Our first show in a week saw a cast of 32 from London, Surrey, Stoke and international students from Portugal take the to stage in this 80’s classic. Directed by Megan Louise Crawley-Rocha & Benjamin Newsome, Musical Direction by Rob Norman and Choreography by Justine Jade & Jodie Steele.

RENT, April 2015
The Magna Carta Arts Centre, Staines

Our second show was the amazing and heart-wrenching rock opera RENT. A cast of 25 took to the stage to perform this show. Using set and costumes from the production of RENT in 2013 at the Tabard Theatre in London. The creative was also made up of cast and creatives from the London production, which was a fantastic opportunity for our students. Standing ovations for both shows, and an incredible cast bond.

Loserville, August 2015
Jubilee Theatre, Addlestone

Working with international students with an exchange programme, we brought together this excellent musical complete with an 80’s retro vibe. Loserville follows the story of 4 underdogs who are geniuses, and how they changed the world.

Spring Awakening, April 2016 & August 2017 
The Reading Room Theatre, London & Jade Studios @ Greenside, Edinburgh

This show is so close to our creative teams hearts. First performed with two casts of 18 in London to a completely sold out run, and we were lucky enough to receive amazing reviews and feedback, so the following year we took the musical to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for a weeks long run with two more casts of 18. The Edinburgh experience was utterly amazing, with a sold out run, celebrity audience members and absolutely phenomenal reviews. This rock musical has everything, comedy, tragedy and an electrifying score.

The biggest show we’ve ever taken on! We put this incredible show together in a week with a cast of 40 students. The set was built by our in house team, and the show was received with standing ovations from two sold out shows. This beautiful operetta moved our cast, and they gave outstanding performances.

BARE: A Pop Opera, April 2017
Riverside Studio Theatre, Sunbury

This amazing pop/rock musical looks at the love story of Jason and Peter, and their struggles of keeping their relationship secret. We brought this musical to life in a small immersive studio theatre, seating only 45 people per show. The 4 shows completely sold out and featured students from our academies, as well as cast members from London, Ireland and the Midlands.

Riverside Arts Centre Theatre, Sunbury

Jason Robert Browns amazing musical, written for teenagers. A truly amazing score, and fantastic dance numbers. It follows the life of Evan Goldman who moves to Indiana from New York and tries desperately hard to fit in wth the cool kids. An excellent Summer show with a cast of 30 talented students.

American Idiot, April 2018
Riverside Arts Centre Studio, Sunbury

Based on the Greenday Album “American Idiot” this incredible rock opera follows the life of Johnny, Will and Tunny and their fight against radicalised America. With well known songs such as 21 Guns, Boulevard of Broken Dreams and Jesus of Suburbia, this musical is truly one for the rock fans.

Spamalot Schools Edition, July 2018, The Magna Carta School, Staines

Based on Monty Python and The Holy Grail, this hilarious musical was brought to life by a cast of 28 young performers. With over 100 costumes, this musical was our first big comedy show and it went down a storm.

Avenue Q, April 2019, The Riverside Arts Studio Theatre

The amazing Avenue Q looks at the realities of life after you finish your degree. Told through puppetry and crude jokes,
Avenue Q is one of the funniest musicals around with fantastic songs and brilliant characters. Performed with a small cast 12 in an intimate studio space.

Re visiting our very first show in a week with some of our original cast members and lots of new ones. We had an amazing week on FAME, which is packed full of roles and a fantastic score.

LIFT, October 2020, The Riverside Arts Centre

We were so lucky to be the first amateur company to perform LIFT as a TRW premiere. A fantastic musical showcasing the best of British with an incredible soundtrack and fascinating storyline.

The Addams Family, July 2021, The Riverside Arts Centre

A family favourite, this spooktacular musical was a huge success in the return to The IAMT’s Summer Show in a Week programme. A talented cast of 32 took to the stage to perform this hilarious and iconic musical with sensational costumes and our biggest set yet.

RENT, April 2022, The Riverside Arts Centre

A firm favourite of The IAMT creative team. We loved revisiting RENT with a cast made up our senior academy students, academy teachers, graduates and working professionals. This beautiful rock operetta tells the story of a group of 8 friends dealing with love, loss and relationships at the height of the AIDS epidemic in New York in the 90’s.

Footloose, July 2022, The Riverside Arts Centre

The classic 80’s movie brought to life! An incredible cast of 28 took to the stage to perform this foot-tapping favourite. Audiences were dancing and singing along with the cast featuring the iconic songs ‘Holding Out For A Hero’, ‘Somebody’s Eyes’, ‘Almost Paradise’ and ‘Footloose’.

School of Rock, July 2023, The Riverside Arts Centre

This incredible show based on the hit film was a firm favourite at IAMT. A show that allowed our Junior Cast members to steal the spotlight and supported by an incredible Senior and Adult company. Standing ovations were truly deserved as the cast rocked out to a completely sold out run!
